Biography

Muhammadali Saidov is a flyweight mixed martial artist from Tajikistan. He was a promising jiu-jitsu master, but then he decided to compete in MMA.

Muhammadali was born in Tajikistan on April 26, 1994. Even at an early age, he became interested in martial arts, devoting all of himself to this occupation.

According to Smoothcomp, Saidov had a white belt in jiu-jitsu. In the American southern town of Key West, Florida, where the young man lived permanently, he trained at the Bone Island Academy.

In October 2020, the athlete was going to compete at the Miami Jiu-Jitsu Championship, but due to unclear circumstances, he did not appear at the competition.

Switching to MMA, Muhammadali showed himself as a brilliant and technical fighter, having not suffered a single defeat in the octagon. In early 2021, the fighter, as part of the 305 Fights promotion, clashed in Miami with Christian Monte and confidently defeated the opponent by unanimous decision.

On January 22, 2022, already speaking in the Rize Fighting Championship, the athlete fought Vaughn Parker. A three-round bout of balanced opponents (56.7 kg), held at Xtreme Action Park in Fort Lauderdale, ended in a unanimous victory for Muhammadali.

In the summer of the same year, Saidov entered the title fight with the American Dylan Alvarez and chalked up another victory, which was the last in the biography of the flyweight champion.

On March 18, 2023, a promising MMA fighter died untimely, just a little short of the age of 30. Muhammadali’s life was cut short during training: an ordinary sparring ended with a severe head injury, after which the man was taken to the hospital, where he fell into a coma. The cause of death was a cerebral hemorrhage, which happened due to a strong blow to the head, which Saidov missed from an opponent.
